Another problem being the sex and their desire for it to be a family friendly series instead. I spoke with this person who wrote a review for it after the San Diego Comic Con panel and the main issue is that George,Bess, and Ned don't feel or act like George,Bess, and Ned. They put effort into making sure that Nancy stays Nancy but everyone else seems to fall short. That's the main problem people are having, just wishing that the other characters shared traits with the people they're meant to be. Riverdale may have gotten more than one season but I don't think this will (and I'm glad if it does). I've ranted about the stupid, kinda gross, and problematic things this show has enough times on Twitter and Tumblr.

This would be fine as it's own show but it seemingly has little to do with our sleuth and her friends They should just redo it with new names. It's pre-release reviews are mostly terrible and even the nicer ones aren't extremely thrilled. Bess is played by a skinny chick so CW just said forget body positivity and turning Ned black and making him a criminal has a pretty uncool implication to say the least. It's also got nothing to do with the books besides the fact that the main character's name is Nancy Drew and she walks up a staircase in one trailer like she does on the cover of Hidden Staircase. None of the characters behave remotely like themselves. They tend to mention specific dates that could give us hints on possible time jumps. It's already a train wreck. It basically has nothing to do with Nancy at all. This was surprising since you will think that they at least have coordinated the timeline within the show for the 1st season. It would have been better if they kept the vague dropping of dates, especially on Tiffany's death. AJ Nishiyama died on a Friday within the 7 days timeframe which would fall on Oct. So it would be Oct 21st they survived and counting 7 days backwards would be Oct. The Drew Crew defeating the Aglaeca on the 21st was revealed in season 2. So it is safe to say that Harbor Day was supposed to be around July and not October in which the Drew Crew supposedly called the Aglaeca on Harbor Day in October.

Johnny Mac and the others called upon the Aglaeca on J(it would be 7 days backwards after not paying the toll they died July 17, 1975). It was also shown and mentioned that the first women of Horseshoe Bay (WiW) called upon the Aglaeca on Harbor Day and illustration of these women in the book confirmed it which dated back to July 1845. Season 1 Episode 14 showed us the CCTV footage of Tiffany visiting the public library on August 28, 2019. After that, Nancy remarked " after 3 days she was poisoned"

Season 1 Episode 13 showed us a video of Tiffany she hid in the Historical Society. We all know that tv shows frequently adjust the timelines within the show but it usually happens in the succeeding seasons and not in the 1st season. IDK if someone else pointed this out here before but it is something I am quite surprised to have happened in Nancy Drew on its very first season. However, much of the trailer does seem to eerily imply that the article could be accurate. This is the only article, that I know of at this time, discussing this. And this isn’t a rumor, it’s established fact because we see her in the trailer. The Prophets would be terrified of losing their control and power over the Covenant if word got out that the species they are currently genociding are the chosen ones of their gods. The Covenant would NEVER let a human near High Charity, much less raise one. The new “villain” is effing stupid to anyone with even a modicum of knowledge of Halo lore. That length of hair would cause all sorts of issues wearing MJOLNIR armor. It’s just very dumb and illogical for one of the Spartans to have shoulder length hair that’s dyed pink. No one is upset that there will be female Spartans. They're definitely going to sideline Master Chief and turn this into some woke trash like Ghostbusters 2016 all over again.Įdit: just to clarify some additional things: There's even a rumor the showrunners have quit before Season 1 has even launched. It'll probably be about these two new female characters facing off against each other with all the original characters being sidelined and ignored. They're introducing a new main character who is an Asian woman that is shown repeatedly in the trailer, a new female character who is tied to the Covenant for some reason, and two of the three Spartans in the show will also be female (one of whom has long pink hair).

Judging by the trailer I can totally believe it. This is also being talked about by Clownfish TV.
